Standing in Christ’s finished work means placing complete confidence in what Jesus has already accomplished on our behalf through His Death, Burial, and Resurrection. When Jesus cried out on the Cross, “It is finished” (John 19:30), He was declaring that the full price for sin had been paid and the work of Redemption perfectly completed. Nothing can be added to what Christ has done, and nothing needs to be repeated. Our Salvation, acceptance, and identity before God are rooted entirely in His completed Sacrifice, not in human effort or religious performance (Ephesians 2:8–9).

Through the finished work of Christ, Believers are justified by Faith and made Righteous before God (Romans 5:1; 2 Corinthians 5:21). This means we are no longer striving to be accepted; we are already accepted in Christ. We now live from a place of Peace with God, knowing that our sins are forgiven and our standing is secure. As a result, there is no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus (Romans 8:1). Standing in His finished work also gives us bold access into God’s presence, where we receive Mercy, Grace, and Strength for daily living (Hebrews 10:19–22).

Furthermore, Christ’s finished work empowers us to live Victoriously over sin, fear, and the works of the enemy. We are complete in Him, lacking nothing for life and Godliness (Colossians 2:10). When we stand firm in this Truth, we resist the temptation to rely on self-effort and instead walk by Faith, Obedience, and Gratitude. Our good works become a response to God’s Grace, not a requirement for His Love. By continually standing in Christ’s finished work, we grow in confidence, Spiritual stability, and Joy, living daily from the Victory Christ has already secured for us.

Prayer Points:

1.Father, I thank You for the finished work of Christ. Help me to fully rest in His completed sacrifice and live each day from a position of Faith, Peace, and Victory.

2.Lord, teach me to stand firm in Christ’s Righteousness, rejecting condemnation, fear, and self-effort, and empower me to walk boldly in the Freedom and Authority You have given me in Christ Amen
