Righteousness is God’s standard for all who bear His name. It is a call to live in right standing with God and to reflect His Character in our thoughts, words, and actions. The Bible makes it clear that Righteousness is not merely outward religious behavior but an inward transformation that produces Godly fruit. “For the Grace of God that brings Salvation has appeared to all men, teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and Godly in the present age” (Titus 2:11–12).

God calls His people to Righteousness because it attracts His Presence, releases His Favour, and becomes a witness to the world. “But seek first the kingdom of God and His Righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you” (Matthew 6:33). Through Christ, we are made righteous by Faith, and we are empowered by the Holy Spirit to live out that Righteousness daily (2 Corinthians 5:21; Romans 8:4). Answering this call is essential for a life that pleases God and advances His Kingdom on Earth.

Prayer Points

1.Father, by Your Grace, help me to walk in Righteousness and to live a life that pleases You in all things (Psalm 119:133).

2.Lord, empower me by Your Holy Spirit to reject sin and boldly reflect Your Righteousness in my daily life (Romans 6:12–13).Amen.

 THE CHURCH AS A MORAL COMPASS IN PUBLIC LEADERSHIP The Church serves as a vital moral compass in public leadership by upholding God’s standards of Righteousness, Justice, and Accountability in society. Through the teaching of Scripture, the Church reminds leaders that authority is a trust from God and must be exercised with Integrity, Humility, and service to the people (Romans 13:1; Micah 6:8).
