THE JOY OF GIVING

 THE JOY OF GIVING

Giving is not a burden for the Believer; it is a Joyful privilege. The Bible teaches that true Joy is found not in hoarding possessions, but in generously sharing what God has entrusted to us. When we give, we reflect the Heart of God, who is the greatest Giver of all. “For God so Loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son” (John 3:16).

The Joy of giving comes from knowing that our generosity pleases God and blesses others. Scripture says, “Each one must give as he has decided in his heart, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God Loves a cheerful giver” (2 Corinthians 9:7). Giving with the right heart releases Peace, Gratitude, and Divine satisfaction that money cannot buy.

It also opens doors for God’s Blessings to flow back into our lives, for “it is more blessed to give than to receive” (Acts 20:35).

Moreover, giving is a seed sown into God’s Kingdom. When we give in Faith, God multiplies our resources and uses them to advance His purposes. “Give, and it will be given to you… For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you” (Luke 6:38). The Joy of giving, therefore, lies in partnership with God—touching lives, meeting needs, and storing treasures in Heaven.

Prayer Points

1.Father, give me a cheerful and generous heart that delights in giving and reflects Your Love to others (2 Corinthians 9:7).

2.Lord, as I give to Your work and to those in need, let my seeds bring a harvest of Blessings, Impact, and Joy, in Jesus’ name (Luke 6:38).Amen.

THE POWER OF A TRANSFORMED MIND

THE POWER OF A TRANSFORMED MIND

By: Evangelist Oluwole Olaleye

Enquiry:08038533059

A Transformed mind is the foundation of a transformed life. God does not begin His Work from the outside but from within—renewing our thoughts, attitudes, and perspectives to align with His Truth. The mind is the control center of human behaviour; as it is shaped by God’s Word, our actions, decisions, and character are changed.

When the mind is renewed, Believers are empowered to discern God’s Will, resist sinful patterns, and live Victoriously in Christ.

The Bible teaches that Spiritual transformation happens through the renewal of the mind by God’s Word and the Holy Spirit. As we meditate on Scripture and submit our thoughts to Christ, old ways of thinking are replaced with Divine Wisdom, Faith, and Obedience.

This renewed mindset enables Believers to live above fear, discouragement, and worldly influence, reflecting the life and nature of Christ in daily living.

Bible References:

Romans 12:2 – “Be transformed by the renewing of your mind…”

2 Corinthians 10:5 – “…bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ.”

Ephesians 4:23 – “Be renewed in the spirit of your mind.”

Philippians 2:5 – “Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus.”

Prayer Points:

1.Father, renew my mind daily by Your Word and Spirit, and remove every wrong pattern of thinking in my life.

2.Lord, help me to think, speak, and act according to the mind of Christ, so I may live a life that pleases You.Amen.

EXPLANATION OF POLITICS FROM SECULAR, SPIRITUAL, AND BIBLICAL PERSPECTIVES

EXPLANATION OF POLITICS FROM SECULAR, SPIRITUAL, AND BIBLICAL PERSPECTIVES.

1. What Is Politics? (Secular Explanation)

In secular terms, politics is the process by which power, authority, and resources are distributed and exercised in society.

At its core, politics is about:

Who gets power

How decisions are made

Whose interests are prioritized

How laws and policies govern people

Key Elements of Secular Politics

Governance – Organizing society through laws, institutions, and leadership.

Power – The ability to influence decisions, behavior, and outcomes.

Public Policy – Rules and programs that affect citizens’ lives (education, health, economy, security).

Representation – Choosing leaders to act on behalf of the people.

Conflict Resolution – Managing competing interests without violence.

In secular thought, politics is often viewed as:

Neutral (a tool, not inherently good or evil)

Pragmatic (focused on outcomes rather than morality)

Competitive (parties and individuals struggle for influence)

Because it is human-centered, secular politics may prioritize:

Self-interest

Group advantage

Ideology

Economic or strategic gain

2. What Is Politics? (Spiritual Explanation)

From a spiritual perspective, politics is not merely about power—it is about values, purpose, and moral responsibility.

Spiritually, politics reflects:

The state of a society’s conscience

The moral vision guiding leadership

The spiritual forces influencing human authority

Spiritual Meaning of Politics

Politics becomes a battleground between:

Justice and injustice

Truth and deception

Service and exploitation

Order and chaos

Leadership is seen not only as a position but as a stewardship—authority entrusted for the good of others.

In spiritual terms:

Power is never neutral

Authority carries moral accountability

Decisions affect both physical lives and spiritual destiny

Politics, therefore, reveals:

What a society worships

What it values most

Whether power is used to serve or dominate

3. How Does God View Politics? (Biblical Perspective)

God does not ignore politics. Scripture consistently shows that God is deeply concerned with leadership, governance, and justice.

A. God Is the Ultimate Source of Authority

“There is no authority except that which God has established.”

— Romans 13:1

God allows human governments to exist to:

Maintain order

Punish wrongdoing

Promote justice

This does not mean God approves of all leaders or policies, but that authority itself is accountable to Him.

B. God Judges Political Power by Righteousness, Not Success

In God’s view, politics is evaluated by:

Justice for the poor

Protection of the vulnerable

Integrity of leaders

Respect for human dignity

“Woe to those who make unjust laws.”

— Isaiah 10:1

God opposes:

Corruption

Oppression

Exploitation of the weak

Abuse of power

C. God Expects Leaders to Serve, Not Exploit

Biblical leadership is servant leadership.

“Whoever wants to become great among you must be your servant.”

— Matthew 20:26

God’s model of politics is not domination but:

Service

Accountability

Compassion

Justice

D. God’s Kingdom Transcends Earthly Politics

Jesus made it clear:

“My kingdom is not of this world.”

— John 18:36

This means:

Earthly politics is temporary

God’s Kingdom is eternal

No political system fully represents God’s reign

Christians are therefore called to:

Participate responsibly

Resist idolizing political power

Place ultimate hope in God, not governments

4. Politics, God, and Human Responsibility

God allows politics as a tool, but humans decide whether it becomes:

An instrument of justice or

A weapon of oppression

God’s Expectations in Politics

Leaders must rule with fear of God

Citizens must pursue righteousness

The Church must speak truth to power

Believers must be salt and light, not silent spectators

“He has shown you what is good: to act justly, love mercy, and walk humbly with your God.”

— Micah 6:8

5. Summary: Politics Through Three Lenses

Perspective View of Politics

Secular Distribution of power and resources

Spiritual Moral and ethical stewardship of authority

God’s View A trust judged by justice, righteousness, and service

Final Thought

Politics is not outside God’s concern, but never above God’s authority.

When politics ignores God, it drifts toward corruption.

When politics submits to moral truth, it becomes a channel for justice and peace.

CHRISTIAN AND POLITICS

 CHRISTIAN AND POLITICS

(Question People Ask)

1. Should Christians Be Involved in Politics?

Yes—Christians may and often should be involved in politics, but not in a corrupt, power-hungry, or ungodly manner. Scripture does not command Christians to withdraw from public life; rather, it calls them to be salt, light, and witnesses in every sphere of society—including governance.

However, politics must never replace faith, and power must never become an idol.

2. Is It Scriptural for Christians to Participate in Politics?

A. God Is Interested in Governance

The Bible consistently shows God’s concern for leadership, justice, and public authority.

“For the LORD is our judge, the LORD is our lawgiver, the LORD is our king.”

(Isaiah 33:22)

God establishes authority and expects leaders to govern righteously.

“When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice; but when the wicked rule, the people groan.”

(Proverbs 29:2)

This verse alone implies that righteous people must sometimes be in authority.

B. Biblical Figures Who Were Politically Involved

Many of God’s servants held governmental or political positions:

Joseph – Prime Minister of Egypt (Genesis 41)

Daniel – Senior government official in Babylon and Persia (Daniel 6)

Esther – Queen who influenced national policy (Esther 4:14)

Nehemiah – Governor and nation-builder (Nehemiah 5)

David and Solomon – Kings chosen by God

John the Baptist – Spoke truth to political power (Luke 3:19)

None of these people abandoned their faith because of politics; rather, they used their positions to preserve lives, promote justice, and honor God.

C. Jesus and Politics

Jesus did not run for office, but He did not teach political escapism.

“Give to Caesar what belongs to Caesar, and to God what belongs to God.”

(Matthew 22:21)

This acknowledges:

Legitimate civil authority

Civic responsibility

God’s higher authority over all systems

Jesus also said:

“You are the salt of the earth… You are the light of the world.”

(Matthew 5:13–14)

Salt that avoids food is useless. Light hidden from darkness fails its purpose.

D. The New Testament Church and Civic Engagement

Paul appealed to Roman law (Acts 22:25–29).

He also taught:

“Let every soul be subject to governing authorities, for there is no authority except from God.”

(Romans 13:1)

Submission here does not mean silence or withdrawal—it means responsible engagement within lawful systems.

3. Arguments Often Used Against Christian Political Involvement—and Biblical Response

Argument 1: “Politics is dirty; Christians should avoid it.”

Biblical response:

Politics is dirty because righteous people avoid it.

“Have nothing to do with the fruitless deeds of darkness, but rather expose them.”

(Ephesians 5:11)

Withdrawal allows corruption to grow unchecked.

Argument 2: “Our kingdom is not of this world.”

True—but Christians still live in this world and are sent into it.

“I do not pray that You should take them out of the world, but that You should keep them from the evil one.”

(John 17:15)

He did not pray for escape, but for influence without compromise.

Argument 3: “The Church should focus only on evangelism.”

Evangelism and social responsibility are not opposites.

“Seek the peace and prosperity of the city… pray to the LORD for it, because if it prospers, you too will prosper.”

(Jeremiah 29:7)

Good governance affects:

Poverty

Education

Religious freedom

Justice

Security

These directly affect the spread of the gospel.

4. What Happens If Christians Refuse to Participate in Politics?

1. Wicked Leadership Will Dominate

“The wicked walk on every side, when the vilest men are exalted.”

(Psalm 12:8)

If righteous voices are silent, evil fills the vacuum.

2. Laws Will Be Made Without Moral Foundation

When Christians withdraw:

Unjust laws multiply

Corruption becomes normalized

The vulnerable suffer

“Justice is turned back, and righteousness stands afar off.”

(Isaiah 59:14)

3. Persecution of the Church Increases

Many nations that now restrict Christian worship did so after believers disengaged politically.

Silence today often becomes persecution tomorrow.

4. The Church Loses Moral Authority in Society

A Church that refuses responsibility but complains about outcomes loses credibility.

“If the salt loses its flavor… it is good for nothing.”

(Matthew 5:13)

5. Future Generations Pay the Price

Bad policies affect:

Children

Families

Education

Economy

Religious freedom

“A good man leaves an inheritance to his children’s children.”

(Proverbs 13:22)

Disengagement is also a form of irresponsibility.

5. How Christians Should Participate in Politics

Christian political involvement must be:

Value-driven, not power-driven

Truthful, not deceptive

Servant-hearted, not oppressive

Prayerful, not prideful

Accountable, not corrupt

“He has shown you, O man, what is good: and what does the LORD require of you but to do justly, to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God?”

(Micah 6:8)

6. Balanced Conclusion

Christianity does not mandate political office, but it permits and often necessitates political involvement

Withdrawal from politics is not holiness, it is abdication

The goal is not Christian domination, but righteous influence

Christians must never worship politics—but they must not abandon society to darkness

“For such a time as this.”

(Esther 4:14)

VICTORY THROUGH THE WORD OF GOD

VICTORY THROUGH THE WORD OF GOD

By: Evangelist Oluwole Olaleye

Enquiry:08038533059

The Word of God is a Powerful weapon given to Believers for daily victory. Scripture declares that the Word is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword (Hebrews 4:12).

When God’s Word is believed, spoken, and obeyed, it overcomes sin, fear, deception, and the attacks of the enemy. Jesus Himself demonstrated this Truth when He defeated Satan in the wilderness by declaring, “It is written” (Matthew 4:4, 7, 10).

Through the Word of God, Believers are strengthened in Faith and assured of Triumph. “This is the victory that overcomes the world, even our Faith” (1 John 5:4), and Faith comes by hearing the Word of God (Romans 10:17).

As we meditate on Scripture and align our lives with it, we walk in the Authority and Victory Christ has already won for us (Joshua 1:8; John 16:33).

Prayer Points

1.Father, empower me to live daily by Your Word and to experience Victory in every area of my life, in Jesus’ name.

2.Lord, help me to speak and stand on Your Word in times of trials, that I may overcome every challenge through Christ.Amen.

LIVING A LIFE OF SACRIFICE

 LIVING A LIFE OF SACRIFICE

Enquiry:08038533059

Living a life of Sacrifice is at the heart of authentic Christian discipleship. Jesus Himself set the ultimate example by giving His Life for the Salvation of humanity.

As Believers, we are called to offer ourselves daily—our time, resources, desires, and ambitions—for God’s Glory and the good of others.

Sacrifice is not merely about loss, but about Love, Obedience, and Surrender. When we lay down our lives for Christ, we discover true purpose and lasting Joy.

The Bible urges Believers to present their lives as an offering to God, not out of compulsion but out of gratitude for His Mercy. A sacrificial life reflects Christ’s Humility, service, and self-denial, showing the world the transforming Power of the Gospel.

Bible References:

Romans 12:1 – “Present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God…”

Luke 9:23 – “If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily…”

John 15:13 – “Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.”

Prayer Points:

1.Lord, give me the Grace to live a selfless and Obedient life, fully surrendered to Your Will.

2.Father, help me to reflect Christ’s Sacrificial Love in my daily walk and service to others.Amen.

CHRIST:OUR SOON-COMING KING

 CHRIST: OUR SOON-COMING KING

By: Evangelist Oluwole Olaleye

Enquiry:08038533059

Jesus Christ is not only our Saviour but also our soon-coming King. The Bible clearly declares that He will return in Glory, Power, and Righteousness to establish His Eternal Kingdom. His first coming was in Humility (Luke 2:7), but His second coming will be in Majesty, when every eye shall see Him and every knee shall bow (Revelation 1:7; Philippians 2:10–11).

As Believers, the promise of Christ’s return is a source of Hope, Holiness, and Endurance.

It calls us to live Watchfully, Faithfully, and Obediently, knowing that our King will reward Righteousness and judge the world in Truth (Matthew 24:42–44; 2 Timothy 4:1). The certainty of His coming urges us to Preach the Gospel, uphold Godly living, and remain steadfast in Faith until we see Him face to face (Revelation 22:12).

Bible References:

John 14:1–3

Acts 1:10–11

Matthew 24:30–31

Revelation 19:11–16

Revelation 22:12

Prayer Points:

1.Lord Jesus, prepare my heart and life to live in Holiness and readiness as I await Your Glorious return.

2.O King of kings, strengthen the Church to remain Faithful, bold, and committed to Your work until You come again.Amen.
